B-day party, Koehn Style - 10/17/09

Every year for our birthdays, everyone on Joel's side of the family gets to choose their birthday "menu." Since my brother-in-law, Marc, and my birthdays are only a couple of weeks apart, we usually have a combined bash, and we each get to choose a menu. This year, Marc chose lasagna and cherry cobbler. I chose tacos (shocker) and homemade vanilla ice cream. We had a feast!!! We got some nice gifts (I got a prayer book and some money), but my mother-in-law also got us some Halloween "gag" gifts. Marc received a "gangster/pimp" ensemble and I received a "glamour wig." As you can see from the photos below, we enjoyed them a little too much!!!
