Our Valentine's Day

This year, our church had a free Parents' Night Out, so for 5 hours, Joel and I took advantage of NO KIDS!!!

First, we had dinner at the new Tokyo Steak House in Derby (hibachi-style grill). While the service was pretty good, the food just didn't compare to our favorite hibachi place, Sumo Japanese Grill and Sushi Bar. Here is a photo of Tokyo Steak House:

Next, since it is so difficult to run errands with kids, Joel and I got some much-needed items at the near-by Target:

While Target wasn't the ideal V-Day spot for Joel, he was a good sport about it. And, we were able to get in and out rather quickly without the girls. After Target, we went back home and spent a quiet evening watching some TV without having to be interrupted by noisy children. It was sooooo peaceful!!!

Thanks to those at RHUMC for the free babysitting, and for wearing out our children so much that they slept through the entire night after they got home! :-)
