It's always interesting at the Koehn's

Last night, Joel, me and the girls went to his parents' house in Andover to have dinner with them, his sister, Sarah, her husband, Marc, and our baby nephew Luke. As always, dinner conversations revolved around things not worth mentioning again, and the obligatory "shooting of the varmits" took place in the backyard. We all had a really good time and many laughs. Here are some snip-its of the evening...

Grandma Koehn and Luke, right after a diaper change. He was inbetween cries, but it looks like he's smiling. And look... WE HAVE EYES!!!

Joel preparing to shoot varmits - the "protective eyewear" he is modeling is some old
sunglasses of his mom's. What a goober!!!

Joel being Joel - with a FLARE!!!

Joel and Luke

Me, Grace and Luke - he was cooing at her and staring at her
the entire time she was holding him

Natalie was more interested in climbing the stairs and crawling all over the place. She could care less about babies at this point, though she did get up on the couch at one point and "pet" Luke like she would a dog. We're still working on being "easy" (that comment was not meant in a sexual way)!

Yeah, doesn't that title just encompass pretty much every dinner we have??? :-)
